We are looking for an energetic Traffic Clerk for our 1st shift in Hayward, CA. The starting pay is $21.00/hr and this is a full-time position that starts at 6:00 AM. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: (Summary of job duties) Responsible for assisting in the Traffic and Customer Service Department to include processing customer orders and issues and verifying and maintaining records on outgoing and incoming shipments. Requires timely and accurate performance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provides customer support and information regarding the ordering, shipment, scheduling, and delivery of our products. • Receives and processes customer orders and inquires for product in a timely and accurate manner in accordance to the company’s ordering guidelines. • Coordinates and resolves discrepancies with customer orders. • Handles shipping & receiving activities to ensure documentation is timely, accurate and complete. • Compile records of unfilled orders and forward information to designated personnel. • Check carriers in & out according to the company guidelines. • Prepares pick tickets & load documents for future shipments and runs necessary reports. • Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments. • Verify cheese-receiving documentations for completeness and compliance with company’s receiving procedures. • Coordinate and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders and receiving prior to data entry and posting. • Ensure accuracy of all data entries by reviewing reports prior to processing in system. • Resolve questionable entries on every item prior to data entry. • Attends department and company required trainings. • Performs other duties as assigned.
