Communications Specialist III
Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Communications Specialist III for their Houston, TX/Hybrid location. Responsibilities: Assisting the Community & Public Affairs Department in internal and external engagement opportunities with Client employees, contractors, and business partners Assist in events and promotions that strengthens our culture, reinforces priorities, and promotes key corporate initiatives Sourcing, developing and delivering a steady and compelling communications content pipeline for employees utilizing executive messages, strategic business updates, success stories, people-related communications and organization announcements Managing and utilizing the right channels for the right content including townhalls, mass mailers, newsletters, videos, mobile app content, websites, internal marketing campaigns and others Using research and analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of and continuously improve employee communications; identify new and emerging best practices and tools and their application Establishing and maintaining relationships and advising key internal stakeholders Collaborating regularly with other communicators on key initiatives. Requirements: Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Bachelor's Degree 5 or more years of professional work experience in administrative assistance, communications, public affairs, Human Resources, or government Ability to work in fast paced environment with several projects happening simultaneously Adept at utilizing all means of communication (digital, written, oral, etc.) for a variety of internal and external audiences Excellent writing, proofreading and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Experience using communication measurement tools to gage effectiveness of communications plans Proficiency with scripting, shooting, editing and producing videos using a variety of video production tools Ability to attend occasional evening and weekend events, as needed. Bachelor s or masters degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications 10 or more years of communications or public relations experience A focus on or passion for internal communications, employee engagement, HR communications and company culture Intermediate proficiency with graphic design and presentation building Excellent written and verbal communications skills, effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Creative and strategic thinker with experience in developing, executing andmeasuring strategic communications programs and campaigns Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure e Organizational savvy and proven ability to interact with and influence all levels. Hands-on team player that works collaboratively and thinks strategically. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as work as part of a team Ability to work with wide latitude for independent judgment and personal responsibility for project success Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective collaborative working relationships with internal and external personnel at all levels, and from a variety of disciplines.
