Provide a diagnosis for each identified client by utilizing diagnostic criteria from the DSMV. Complete a drug and alcohol screening within the required timeframe and complete any necessary follow-up or referrals. Complete an insurance registration form for CCBH clients within the required timeframe. Identify strengths and utilize a strengths-based approach in treatment. develop a treatment plan within the required timeframe and review it with client/family to ensure it captures the client/family concerns Review the treatment plan as required, review it with the client/family and clinical director and get signatures. Assure that ongoing communication and collaboration occurs among all treatment team members as well as family members as appropriate. Make referrals to other programs or outside agencies when necessary due to need of another level of care or to augment outpatient service. Attend and participate in supervision as required. Monitor psychotropic medication within the scope of practice and collaborate with prescribing doctors as needed. Complete required reports to Child line and other agencies involved as necessary. Work in collaboration with Clinic Director, Clinical Supervisors, Administrative Staff, Quality Assurance Department, and the billing department to assist in the process of monitoring quality assurance and other protocols necessary to effectively manage programmatic aspects. Maintain high quality records sufficient to meet State and Federal clinical documentation requirements that include all funding sources. Billing should be reviewed prior to being turned in to billers to ensure that records are accurate. Check mailbox, voicemail and email on a frequent basis and respond promptly when asked both to internal and external sources. Education Requirements One of the following education requirements must be met. 1) Bachelor's Degree in a mental health field AND at least one year full time mental health work experience. 2) OR has a graduate degree in a clinical discipline with 12 graduate level credits in mental health or counseling.
