ERP Business Systems Analyst (Hybrid/On-site) (Henderson)

Company Description Catapult Recruiting LLC was founded by experienced IT professionals with a focus on connecting organizations with skilled, motivated technology talent. The company aims to fill clients’ staffing needs with reliable people who enjoy their work and the companies they support. By combining qualified professionals with modern tools, Catapult Recruiting builds strong, long-term business relationships. Role Description The ERP Business Systems Analyst role is a full-time, on-site position based in Henderson, NV. The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for ERP-related initiatives and enhancements. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business processes, translating requirements into functional specifications, and collaborating with technical teams to design and implement system solutions. The role will involve configuring ERP modules, supporting testing and quality assurance, troubleshooting system issues, and providing user training and documentation. The analyst will also help optimize workflows, improve data integrity, and ensure ERP solutions align with organizational goals and best practices. Qualifications We’re looking for an experienced ERP Business Systems Analyst to represent the IT organization in a major SAP-to-Oracle Cloud transformation. This is a high-visibility opportunity to be part of an ERP transformation team and work directly with ERP leadership, IT, business stakeholders, other departments, and a major Oracle consulting partner. You’ll be the person who connects the dots between the business and technology—understanding business needs, asking the right questions, identifying gaps, challenging assumptions, and helping ensure the organization gets the right solution. The consulting partner will handle much of the deep technical Oracle implementation work. Your role will be to represent IT, provide technical and functional insight, and help ensure the solutions being developed actually work for the organization. What You’ll Do Represent IT as a key member of the ERP transformation team. Help drive the transition from SAP to Oracle Cloud. Serve as a key connection point between ERP leadership, IT, business stakeholders, and the consulting partner. Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Translate business needs into clear requirements and practical technology solutions. Evaluate proposed solutions, identify gaps, and challenge assumptions when necessary. Work with ERP data, APIs, integrations, system interfaces, and data flows. Understand upstream/downstream impacts and integration dependencies. Support data mapping, validation, conversion, and data quality initiatives. Participate in solution design, testing, implementation, deployment, and post-production support. Identify opportunities to improve, simplify, automate, and standardize business processes. Help identify risks, issues, dependencies, and gaps and communicate them to leadership. Help keep business, IT, ERP leadership, and consultants aligned throughout the transformation. Support additional ERP projects and special initiatives as priorities evolve. What You Bring 5 years of experience in ERP business systems analysis, systems analysis, business analysis, or a similar role. Strong understanding of ERP systems, enterprise applications, and business processes. Experience with Oracle or another major ERP platform. Strong understanding of both the functional and technical sides of ERP. Experience gathering and translating business requirements. Experience working with data, APIs, integrations, and system interfaces. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with executives, business users, IT teams, vendors, and consultants. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a complex transformation environment. Nice to Have Oracle Cloud ERP / Oracle Fusion Cloud experience. Experience with Oracle Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, HCM, or related solutions. SAP-to-Oracle or other major ERP transformation experience. Oracle integrations, APIs, middleware, or integration technologies. Data migration, mapping, conversion, or governance experience. Enterprise architecture and application integration knowledge. Experience working with Oracle implementation/consulting partners. Large-scale ERP implementation or transformation experience. ERP reporting, analytics, or business intelligence experience. What Makes This Role Different We’re not looking for someone who simply takes requirements and passes them along. We want someone who will dig into problems, ask “why,” connect business processes to technology, and recognize when there’s a better way to do something. As part of an IT / ERP transformation team, you’ll have a real opportunity to influence how the organization approaches this major technology initiative. You’ll work alongside an experienced Oracle consulting partner, but you’ll be the IT voice making sure the solutions being delivered make sense for the business. If you’re ERP-savvy, technically curious, business-minded, and enjoy solving problems, this could be an outstanding opportunity to make a real impact.
