Required Skills/ Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Recertification Specialist or Compliance Specialist in multi-family Project Based Section 8 housing. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask in a professional environment. In-depth knowledge of HUD 4350.3 Handbook, IRS Section 42 compliance, and multifamily property management concepts. Experience with MOR audits and general HUD compliance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and self-motivation. Advanced math skills for accurate income and rent calculations. Proficiency with Windows-based software and computer literacy. General accounting and budgeting experience. Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) or Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO) certification preferred Reliable transportation.
