Knowledgeable about human milk, formulas and additives used in infant, pediatric and adult patients. Practices with a questioning attitude and escalates concerns, issues or discrepancies regarding enteral feeding orders, faulty equipment and unsafe working conditions appropriately. Adheres to applicable regulations, safety and infection prevention & control standards that govern enteral feeding production operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, and providing strategic tax planning services to our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax review, tax planning, and S Corporation taxation. You will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization, making this a critical and rewarding position within our team. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations. 2. Lead and manage tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for our clients. 3. Conduct comprehensive tax reviews to identify potential issues and recommend solutions to mitigate risks. 4. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly to ensure continued compliance and optimized tax strategies. 5. Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax considerations into broader financial and business strategies. 6. Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. 7. Manage relationships with external auditors and tax authorities, representing the company in any tax audits or disputes. 8. Perform research on complex tax issues and prepare technical tax memos as necessary. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA certification will be highly regarded. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager role or similar position, preferably within a public accounting firm or a large corporation. 3. In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures at the federal, state, and local levels. 4. Proven experience with tax review, tax planning, and S Corporation taxation. 5. Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members. 6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. 7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals and clients. 8. Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications. 9. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines. 10.
