About the Role The Scientific Services Director serves as the senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) for CBRE Scientific Solutions, responsible for defining and guiding the technical strategy, service offerings, and market positioning of the organization. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments/results within a function. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. Expertise in laboratory management and asset lifecycle management. Experience in regulated environments and RFP processes. Proven SME or technical leadership experience. The minimum salary for the LIS Director is $180,000 annually and the maximum salary for the LIS Director position is $220,000 annually. For candidates living in Austin, TX or Washington DC metros or in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Washington states, the expected salary range for the role is currently $132,600 - $171,600. For candidates living in all other US locations, the expected salary range for this role is currently $125,000 - $161,700.
