Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Assemble, install, perform functional and safety tests and reverse engineer on wiring using hand tools and proper assembly techniques by following work instructions (prints, cut sheets, sample harnesses). • Install lights, brackets, and electrical hardware to special test boxes, automotive components, and vehicles according to specifications. • Test wiring and components for correct operation using a schematic and diagnostic equipment. • Perform wiring reworks and repairs on bench and vehicle, crimp and solder, de-pin terminal, create basic schematics and reverse engineer harnesses. • Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs. • Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up. Education and Experience (required): • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 4 years of electrical work experience.
