A local company with several manufacturing facilities in Livonia and Redford, Michigan is seeking several Welder / Fabricators for Long-Term opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Welder / Fabricators who are looking for a company that offers excellent growth, job security, competitive rates, good work/life balance, and premium rate overtime. The position is full-time and long-term with starting pay rates between $18 to $30 hourly based on experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We also offer paid overtime at 1 1/2 after 40/hrs. per week and excellent benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with matching, profit sharing, and more! Qualified Welder / Fabricators will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience: Any experience with MIG welding. Any experience with Lay-out, positioning, aligning, and securing parts and assemblies prior to assembly/tacking and or welding. Able to weld in many different positions, including flat, horizontal and vertical. Able to read fabrication and assembly drawings (blueprints) with typical weld symbols. Any Fabrication experience with sheet metals, structural components and assemblies. Any experience with shop tools/machinery: shears, presses, saws, drill press, grinders, cutting torch, manual mills/lathes, rigging equipment and cranes. Use of precision measuring tools (calipers/mics/height gauges), squares, scales, and fixtures. Must be authorized to work in the US, and complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
