Description Summary: This professional should possess and be able to demonstrate the skills necessary to perform all aspects of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography on all patient populations, as appropriate. This individual should also be competent with any other specialized echocardiography procedures (i.e. stress echocardiography) that are performed at his/her home campus. He/she should be able to maintain accurate records that reflect patient care. This individual should be competent to perform other cardiopulmonary procedures (i.e. EKGs, etc.) and should assist in performing these procedures, as needed. This person will use communication and available resources to promote quality and cost-efficient patient care.
