Key Responsibilities Cash Management and Banking Maintain a consolidated cash dashboard across all entities and bank accounts Produce monthly cash flow reports and rolling forecasts Monitor liquidity needs and proactively identify potential funding gaps Oversee account structure and ensure appropriate use of each account Investor Funding and Capital Activity Manage investment funding intake including verification of funds and allocation to appropriate entities or offerings Track and document all investor capital activity including contributions, preferred equity, and member loans Maintain complete documentation supporting investor transactions Disbursements and Payables Controls Oversee outgoing payments including wires, ACH transfers, checks, credit cards, and reimbursements Confirm approvals, payee accuracy, entity allocation, GL coding, and documentation for all payments Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and payment logs while ensuring proper controls Fee Agreements and Administration Track and reconcile fee arrangements including investor relations structures, referral fees, management fees, acquisition and disposition fees, and consulting agreements Maintain schedules outlining payment calculations, timing, and supporting documentation Ensure fees are accrued and paid in accordance with governing agreements Monthly Close and Financial Reporting Lead the monthly close process including reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals Prepare financial statements by entity including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Maintain accounting policies, approval workflows, and internal control procedures Coordinate with external CPAs, tax advisors, lenders, and investors as needed Forecasting and Operational Spend Map recurring and planned expenses across entities and budgets Maintain consistent expense categorization across technology, software, and operational costs Implement scalable accounting processes to support continued platform growth Qualifications CPA preferred, or CPA-track with controller-level experience Experience managing accounting across multiple entities or investment structures Strong Excel skills and comfort working with multiple bank accounts and financial systems High attention to detail and strong discretion with sensitive financial information Ability to create structure and implement processes in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting real estate investment, private investment funds, or similar structures is a strong plus Interested in hearing more?
