We build robotic spacecraft that enable dynamic space operations, creating a futurewhere maneuvering, upgrading, refueling, and exploration are as routine as they are onEarth. Partner with engineering to assess system architecture and technical feasibility. Ability tooperatein ambiguity: Youhave the ability totake unstructured, incomplete problem spaces and create clarity, direction, and momentum. Data Scientist - Multiple Levels (TS/SCI with Poly Required) (Columbia)

Overview The Red Alpha Data Science practice grew out of Red Alpha's reputation in Software and System Engineering with our Department of Defense clients. As sometimes happens, customers who trust our expertise in adjacent areas asked Red Alpha to assist with some of their burgeoning Data Science problems. Culturally, it probably suffices to say that we take our work seriously, but not ourselves. Our leaders have spent time in the trenches and have cursed daylight savings time changes and trailing whitespace as many times as you have. We like to say that we spend 80% of our time cleaning the dataand 20% of our time complaining about cleaning the data. Joking aside, our voices matter, and it is easy to see how our decisions affect the Data Science practice and Red Alpha as a whole. We have a clear vision of where we are headed. Our team takes a pragmatic approach to Data Science, defining it loosely as the intersection of technical expertise, business acumen, and soft skills to solve business problems with data. We spend a lot of time trying to understand the problem before we set about building a solution, and we prefer lower tech useful solutions over shiny algorithms and dust on the shelf. Did we mention we’re pragmatic? We have a diverse set of skills across our team, and whether you are a traditional Data Scientist (whatever that means…), an Applied Research Mathematician, a Database Engineer, a Full Stack Developer, or something else in that neighborhood, if you have a knack for picking apart data to make sense of it, we would enjoy having a conversation with you. Responsibilities Start your day at a customer location near our Red Alpha offices, checking to see if there are any important items that have just come up. If not, you’ll move on to improving a dashboard or other data product that you’re responsible for, or perhaps produce a weekly output the customer is expecting. You’ll be using R or Python a lot, but also Git, Mongo, some commercial software and several other usual suspects. Once a week you’ll attend a team meeting (with 4 others) to prioritize things, and you’ll have a lot of interaction with the team otherwise, typically several times per day. You’ll need your sense of humor and need to be willing to leave your ego at the door. Qualifications We are actively hiring data professionals for roles across a broad range of skill levels and projects. Our goal is to find the best fit for you so please note that if you apply to one of them and we see a fit elsewhere we will let you know. So do not worry about applying initially for every position you might be interested in. All of our data scientists need the following skills: Proficiency with a scripting language such as R or Python Experience with data science techniques and algorithms such as classification, clustering, random forests, deterministic forests (jk), hierarchical modeling, deep learning, Markov Chain Monte Carlo, and others. Note that you do not need to have all of these (we hope you enjoyed our random smattering of techniques…) but you should be comfortable and capable with several of them and know some others not on this list. A B.S. Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field. For entry-level data scientists, 0-3 years of experience on Data Science projects. For mid-level data scientists, 3-6 years of experience on Data Science projects. For senior-level data scientists, at least 6 years of experience on Data Science projects with at least 3 years of experience managing teams. A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. These are important skills to have, but not necessarily mandatory: Exceptional interpersonal skills. You know, as in you might not be at the top of the list to be a game show host but you do like people and enjoy solving problems jointly with your colleagues. Experience with Java, C, or other compiled languages Comprehensive knowledge of Saturday Night Live sketches (just kidding) Experience with SQL/NoSQL, Spark, Hadoop Familiarity with Javascript and Scripting Familiarity with Docker, GitLab, and React The total package Our total compensation package was strategically designed with our members in mind with the intention to reward our members for their hard work and commitment to our customers' missions; allow members to share in Red Alpha's success as we continue to grow and expand our footprint; provide long-term career opportunities through stability and internal mobility; and provide the resources our members need to support themselves and their dependents in the form of a robust benefits package. Our total compensation package includes a competitive base salary and benefits such as health, life/disability, 401k, paid time off, professional development, and generous bonus programs. Please visit our benefits tab for additional information. Salary Range: Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for these positions are: Entry-level: $95,000 - $135,000 Mid-level: $110,000 - $155,000 Senior-level: $135,000 - $235,000 Some of our additional perks and benefits include: Retire sooner than planned: Get closer to retirement with up to 10% in 401k contributions, immediately vested. Director of Legal (New York)

About PointFive PointFive is the AI Efficiency OS. From the cloud to the coding agent, we're the only platform that manages AI spend everywhere it happens. Engineering and FinOps teams use PointFive to make their organizations more efficient and their cloud and AI more effective. We don't just show what you spend. We show what you're wasting, and we fix it autonomously. NuBank saw ROI in 10 days. Customers average 1,200% ROI and a 4.9 rating on G2. Founded by the team behind IntSights (acquired by Rapid7), PointFive recently closed a $60M Series B led by Accel, with participation from Entrée Capital and Salesforce Ventures. We're hiring a Director of Legal to serve as PointFive's first in-house legal counsel and build the legal function from the ground up. This is a broad, high-ownership role: you'll cover the full spectrum of company legal - commercial contracts and deal support, corporate housekeeping, compliance, and everything in between - while putting in place the infrastructure that makes the business faster as it grows. This leader is equal parts player/coach , process builder , legal counsel and owner , and hands‑on executor . You'll report into VP of Operations and work as a close partner to Sales, RevOps, Finance, HR and leadership across the business. You'll know when to get into the weeds on a deal and when to step back and let the team move. If you're energized by building from scratch, moving quickly, and having a real seat at the table, this role might be for you. What You'll Own Commercial Legal and Deal Desk Serve as in-house counsel for all commercial activity: draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SaaS agreements, NDAs, SOWs, and amendments. Drive commercial contracting end-to-end — guide GTM teams through negotiations and MSA reviews, building their judgment on tradeoffs and risk over time. Get into the weeds where a deal requires it; remove yourself where the team can move without you. Own the legal side of contract lifecycle management: intake, routing, templates, repository, and reporting, in close coordination with RevOps and Sales Ops whose Order Form, CPQ, and contract‑management systems the legal workflow flows from. Standardize approval workflows and turnaround SLAs so deals move faster, not slower, when they hit Legal. Partnerships Legal Management Support partnership agreements with cloud providers, channel partners, and technology alliances. Collaborate with the Partnerships team on deal structure, IP ownership, and commercial terms. Cloud Marketplace Contracting legal requirements (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) - EULA amendments, CCP terms, DPA addendums, MDF agreements. Corporate and Company Legal Own the company's corporate legal foundation: entity maintenance and coordination with external counsel on corporate governance matters. Support G&A activity as needed - interfacing with Finance, HR, and Operations to keep corporate housekeeping running cleanly. Manage IP ownership, trademarks, assignment agreements, and any licensing matters that arise as the product and partnerships expand. Be the internal go‑to for any legal question that doesn't fit a neat category — the kind of role where that's not my area is not an answer. Employment Law (Israel, US, UK, Global) Handle employment matters: offer letters, contractor agreements, separation agreements, and policy updates in coordination with HR and Operations. Familiarity with dual‑entity structures and equity matters (US/Israel) a plus. Risk Management Identify and assess legal and business risk across contracts, partnerships, vendors, and new commercial motions. Build a consistent framework for evaluating and communicating risk to leadership — not just flagging issues, but recommending how to navigate them. Leverage outside counsel efficiently: deploy them on spiky, unfamiliar, or high‑stakes matters where specialization matters; handle the rest in-house. Advise on corporate governance, employment matters, and any legal exposure that arises as the company scales. What You'll Support Compliance Partner with Security and Engineering on data privacy obligations and audit readiness. Support Security/Technology with the company's compliance posture across SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and other applicable frameworks. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure internal policies stay current and enforced - particularly relevant given the pace of change in AI regulation (EU AI Act, state‑level AI laws, etc.). RFPs and Security Questionnaires Lead legal review and response for RFPs, security questionnaires, and customer due diligence requests. Support Solution Engineering and build repeatable playbooks and response libraries to reduce cycle time and lift the quality of every submission. Vendor Legal Management Support finance with vendor contract review and negotiation - software, contractors services, data, and infrastructure agreements. Maintain a vendor contract repository and proactively flag risks, and obligations. Partner with Finance on procurement and approval processes of onboarding and renewal of vendor contracts. What Success Looks Like Contract lifecycle is under control: templates exist, intake is clean, and the repository is a source of truth, not a mess. GTM teams are faster — legal has reduced friction on standard deals without increasing exposure. Risk is visible: leadership knows what's in the pipeline, what's been escalated to outside counsel, and why. Compliance posture is documented and audit‑ready — no scrambling when a customer or auditor asks. The business trusts Legal as an accelerator, not a bottleneck. What We're Looking For 5-7 years of legal experience in a hi‑tech company or hi‑tech sector under a law firm. Technical fluency : you don't need to write code, but you understand how software products are built, deployed, and sold. JD from an accredited law school and bar admission (New York preferred). Deep fluency in commercial contracts : SaaS agreements, MSAs, NDAs, data processing agreements, and vendor terms. Proven ability to work autonomously - you've owned a function, not just supported one. Track record of partnering closely with Sales and RevOps : you understand the commercial process, not just the contracts. Experience managing outside counsel - knowing when to deploy them and how to extract value efficiently. Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) and the operational work that keeps them current. Strong instincts on risk : you know when to push back, when to move fast, and how to explain the difference to a non‑lawyer. Clear, direct communicator - in contracts and in conversation. Nice to have Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, data security, or FinOps industry context. Prior experience building legal processes and tooling from an early‑stage baseline. Benefits & Perks Base Salary Range: $190,000 - $240,000. Health, dental, vision (yes, all three!), equity in something early‑stage and exciting, generous PTO, 401K, meal & commuter benefits, a team that will actually challenge you and much more. Equal Opportunity Statement PointFive is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply. J-18808-Ljbffr
