With our continued expansion and growth in the Southeast, we are looking for Fleet Service (Diesel) Technicians to join our Salisbury, MD team. Our dedicated fleet team plays a critical role in keeping our equipment safe, reliable, and ready for the road — ensuring that Eagle’s operations run smoothly and our drivers stay on schedule. ​ Job Duties Complete routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment which includes but is not limited to: lubrication and oil changes; seat repair; brake, wheel, tire, and battery services; belt, hose, headlight, and basic component replacement. Perform basic troubleshooting and intermediate level repair work on fleet vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to the alternator, starter, water pump replacement, and auxiliary equipment installation. Perform DOT-mandated safety inspections on fleet vehicles. Clean and maintain assigned work areas, including common shop areas and facility grounds, e.g., maintain recyclables, address fluid spills, and organize bulk storage of tires and barrels. Complete required forms and input required information into the fleet management information system in a timely manner. Respond to disabled vehicles in the field during or after normal business hours.
