Job Description Company Description: Aaron Manor is a 60-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Chester, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring a Cook. Come join our team! Responsibilities: • Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submit to the Director of Food Services. • Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. • Review care plans to assure that current dietary information is consistent with foods served. • Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders. • Assist in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc., as necessary. Cook Pay Rate: • Pay rate: $20.00 per hour. Must have "Serve Safe of Sanitation" certification. • Be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner. • Be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.
