Bills both primary and secondary insurance carriers for inpatients and outpatients, process required adjustments, calculates days and deductibles if applicable, at the time of billing calculates expected payments, and adjusts balances. Rebills accounts when necessary. Maintains a system for review and follow-up on un-paid claims. Files liens when necessary. Completes claim check process to produce bills and enters, corrects, or reverses charges when necessary with required documentation. Refers accounts to a self pay status when collection efforts have been exhausted or denied Interprets for Non-English speaking patients/public. Communicates with insurance carriers to ensure coverage for services provided

Extract airspace and resource utilization data for trend analysis to monitor/improve operational efficiency. Ensure established safety and security parameters are maintained. Provide work direction to work unit subordinate personnel. Performs other related duties as directed. REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE The incumbent must have obtained training from a military school or equivalent on-the-job training specific to functions of the work unit. Must have 7 years' experience in the local work unit operations and a minimum of 10 years' experience in air operations, airspace management, or associated activities. In addition, the Mission Ops Scheduler III must possess the following qualifications: Working knowledge of overall mission, priority assignments, scheduling procedures, and requirements of range users. Detailed knowledge of range capabilities and limiting factors, operational security constraints, mandatory safety parameters, and support system capability.
