What is the Role? The City is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and well-rounded Sustainable Transportation Program Manager to lead the development and management of multimodal transportation, access, parking, and mobility programs, alongside other related projects. With two BART stations, San Pablo Ave and the Ohlone Greenway, as well as new active transit-oriented development, this position will support the City’s goals to create a balanced transportation environment by developing and managing shared mobility, micro mobility, active transportation, parking management, transportation demand management, and electric vehicle infrastructure initiatives from the planning phase to project implementation. The Sustainable Transportation Program Manager will lead stakeholder and community engagement for transportation initiatives, including public outreach, community relations, and communications. The position represents the City on regional committees to identify, prioritize, and advance the City's transportation goals. The position will coordinate interdepartmentally, including managing a newly formed interdepartmental transportation task force, and will collaborate with outside agencies to foster a safe and accessible, multimodal transportation system.
