Local Team Collaboration: Join our close-knit team of 6 physicians and 2 APPs at Mercy Hospital Pittsburg. Many of us actively participate in hospital committees, such as the medical executive committee, strengthening our relationships with specialists and the supportive administration. Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. Qualifications: We are looking for board-certified/eligible emergency medicine physicians. J1 visa candidates are invited to apply, access Sound’s in-house visa specialists, as well as our licensing and credentialing experts Scheduling: Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, we offer a flexible schedule. We are always there to support each other when covering shifts. Shift times are 6 AM - 6 PM and 6 PM - 6 AM. Full-time status is 120 hours per month. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care in a 13-bed Level IV emergency department, managing a diverse range of cases with 15,500 annual visits. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists and imaging professionals, to deliver top-tier care. Engage in regular monthly, remote, and in-person meetings to foster team collaboration and provide a platform for feedback and continuous improvement.
