This role is pivotal in ensuring outstanding guest service, operational efficiency, and financial success. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of culinary enthusiasm, leadership prowess, and a zest for creating an unforgettable dining experience. Oversee daily restaurant operations and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts, managing staff and ensuring guests are satisfied with their dining experience. Recruit, train, manage, and motivate staff; conduct performance appraisals, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to staff members. Respond to customer queries and complaints, ensuring all restaurant policies are upheld. Manage budgets and control expenses; review financial transactions and ensure they comply with financial plans. Plan, forecast, and execute strategies for boosting restaurant sales and reaching profit targets. Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, health and safety legislation and regulations. Organize and supervise shifts, managing schedules, and making adjustments as necessary. Strong leadership and communication skills Proven customer service orientation with the ability to react effectively under pressure Skillful in budget management and profit optimization Capable of conducting and analyzing restaurant performance metrics Expertise in staff management including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
