Frequency/Duration of Breaks: 2 x 10 minutes; 20-minute lunch Tools/Equipment Used: Circuit boards, test fixtures, hand tools, microscope and magnification lighting. Personal Protective Equipment Required: ESD smocks, ESD foot and wrist straps, safety glasses. Core Responsibilities: Performs printed circuit insertions and other manual assembly tasks. Prepares printed circuit boards, electronic components, and wire for use in subsequent assembly. Responsible for the proper use of simple machines and hand tools to accomplish these tasks. Responsible for learning and conforming to industry standards for solder connections. Set up work stations and machines using all descriptive and instructional material related to the job assignment. Responsible for following instructions explicitly to complete the assigned operation. Responsibilities for all areas: Keep work area neat and organized.
