(Note: Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is not performed at the Buffalo VAMC at this time) Hours of Operation: ~VA Business Hours: Normal administrative hours are 8:00 to 16:30, Monday through Friday. ~Operating Room (O.R). Schedule: Currently, normal OR hours are 07:00 – 15:30 Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Employee shall provide 40 hours per week during the O.R. hours; specific times may vary or be negotiated with the Employee closer to start date. Additional time may be needed for necessary procedures, which will be established and/or revised, as deemed appropriate for patient care by the VA Chief of Staff. ~On-call shifts: will be assigned on a rotating basis by the VA at least three weeks in advance. If a physician is called back to the VA for a case, the base hourly rate applies from the time the physician arrives at the hospital to the time the physician leaves the hospital.
