The successful candidates would join a thriving multidisciplinary medical oncology practice and be able to leverage world class scientific collaborations and robust infrastructure for investigator initiated and population based clinical trials. We expect that this individual will hold an academic appointment in the Department of Medicine. She/he will report to the Chief of Hematology & Medical Oncology and be expected to have administrative, clinical, teaching, and research responsibilities in the Mays Cancer Center, one of the nation's NCI-Designated Cancer Centers with over a 40 year tradition of excellence in development of new cancer therapies, understanding cancer biology, and decreasing the burden of Cancer in San Antonio and South Texas.
