SUMMARY The General Laborer will assist in various physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role requires the ability to work efficiently and safely, carrying out duties such as trash removal, stacking, pump cleaning, maintaining the work area, and assisting other skilled workers. The starting rate for this position is $18.50/hour. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Trash removal General housekeeping Ensures compliance with corporate standards and systems to monitor food safety, food safety culture, quality and facility cleanliness Drum washing Line stacking Drive floor scrubber Pump cleaning (3rd shift) Slurry dumping (tip totes filled with slurry paste into Scott machine to be hosed out) Cheese dumping (based on lot requirement, dump required amount of cheese into the vessel for processing) Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to work with chemicals for pump cleaning and drum washing ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
