Description CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills (CSRH-WH) is a 150-bed hospital serving the fastest growing area of San Antonio. Specialized care includes orthopedic and surgical services, ICU, women’s services, a newborn nursery, comprehensive cardiovascular care from diagnostics to open heart surgery, vascular lab, sleep center, emergency services, the CHRISTUS Weight Loss Institute, wound care, rehabilitation, and more. Summary: Provides Occupational Therapy Services to patients referred, including assessment, treatment plan development and implementation with the follow-up and discharge planning. Actively assists with clinical aspects of the department, including program development, department operations and Performance Improvement activities. Assists with supervising and coordinating the Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant Student programs. In addition, supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers. Responsibilities: Performs comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine the status of the physical, cognitive and daily living abilities of inpatients and outpatients, considering diagnosis and age specific needs. Develops and implements, with patient/family participation, individualized treatment plans, as indicated, considering diagnosis and age specific needs, with measurable goals and methods to achieve goals. Adheres consistently to the P&Ps relating to documentation, to include: Initial Patient Evaluations, Daily and Weekly Progress notes as required, Discharge Summaries and other notations as appropriate. Participates in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, departmental, and interdepartmental meetings. Counsels both patient (if appropriate), family and other involved individuals regarding patient evaluation, care and treatment. Initiates and completes discharge planning in a timely manner and provides effective education and training. Assists with coordination and supervision of the Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant student programs, as well as the volunteer program. Actively assists with clinical aspects of the department including orientation of new associates, scheduling of patients to assure quality patient coverage and appropriate staff supervision, as necessary. Demonstrates adherence to the CORE values of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System. Understands, supports and participates in Performance Improvement activities. Complies with and develops efficient and creative ways to maintain departmental productivity standards. Maintains an awareness of other agencies within the community in order to make appropriate referrals, when indicated, to network and to increase knowledge of community resources. Identifies and provides educational opportunities for self, department and community. Participates in research activities, as appropriate. Demonstrates competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities in a manner that meets the age-specific and developmental, and population specific needs of patients served by the department. Appropriately adapts assigned patient assessment, treatment and/or care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychological, cultural, age-specific, and other developmental needs of each patient served. Fosters and promotes positive and professional relationships with members of the medical staff, physicians, and referral sources. Performs other related duties as directed. Requirements: Education/Skills Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in the area of Occupational Therapy is required. All modalities/equipment used by an Occupational Therapy Assistant as outlined by the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners. Experience None required. Premium Relocation Assistance Provided (Terms & Conditions applied) Overview: The primary purpose of this position is to set up, operate, program manual and CNC horizontal milling machines, manual lathes, and CNC lathes performing detailed operations on a variety of parts and components. Use a range of tools, including milling cutters, boring bars and heads, saws, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and more. Your role will require a proven understanding of shop mathematics and the capacity to interpret complicated drawings, specifications, charts, and tables. You should also have experience with precision measuring instruments and/or specialized occupation training. Applicants will have 5-7 years of practical trades training, which includes familiarity with blueprints, CNC machinery, programming, G & M code, and manual machining. Effective written and verbal communication abilities are essential, and the ability to maintain Siemens Energy equipment certifications is required. How You’ll Make an Impact Will work from manufacturing information, drawings, written and/or verbal instructions and perform such operations as: Using material handling devices, loads/unloads parts from machines and/or assists crane operator. Setting up machines by installing tooling, adjusting to proper machine settings, feeds, speeds, etc., per job documentation and drawing specifications; assure proper tooling pre-sets. Will perform in-process integrity checks, as required, in order to maintain specific drawing tolerances. Conducting in-process testing and charting operational information and/or recording data as required, removing chips from work pieces and clean for inspections, as required to maintain a clean work area. Completing log sheets, downtime records, and other information, as required by the data collection system. Adapting to various situations and adjusting to the shift priorities. What You Bring Must have high school diploma or equivalent. An associate degree or trade school certificate is preferred. A basic knowledge in the use of shop mathematics, together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, various types of precision measuring instruments and/or the training generally applicable in a particular or specialized occupation. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and how it applies to the engineering provided drawing. 5 Years or more in applied trades training, such as use of blueprints, CNC equipment, etc. Must qualify for and maintain appropriate equipment certifications of Siemens Energy (i.e., Fork truck, crane, etc.). Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Hardware Engineer III (Electrical Engineer III) - Contract (Location: Huntsville, AL area) Description Client is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer or Electrical Engineer with 5 years of hands-on experience to lead initial board bring-up activities for new carrier card integrations. * Looking for an engineer to do complex mixed signal digital or analog design work. *The ideal candidate will have the following 3 skill sets and experience 1) Skilled at electronic circuit design and schematic capture (Cadence Concept DEHDL or equivalent). 2) Experience designing complex embedded digital hardware products utilizing microprocessors, FPGAs, or network switches from concept to completion. 3) Experience with component and system level troubleshooting for digital, analog, and power circuits.
