Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist, you will help hospitalized patients at St. Joseph Hospital Medical Center ("SJHMC") receive comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and management so they can improve their mental health outcomes and support their overall medical recovery. St. Joseph Hospital Medical Center is the oldest ACS-verified Level I trauma center in central Phoenix. In this role, you will deliver critical consultation-liaison psychiatric services across diverse inpatient settings. You will be expected to cover the emergency department, intensive care unit, medical-psychiatric unit, and collaborate with specialists at the Barrow Neurological Institute to manage complex neuropsychiatric illnesses.
