Key Responsibilities: Oversee all accounting functions and supervise a team of 4. Prepare and review journal entries and monthly financial statements. Analyze semi-annual and annual financials in accordance with GAAP. Ensure accuracy in AP, AR, payroll, cash flow, cost accounting, and budget variance reporting. Maintain internal controls and accounting policies. Coordinate with financial institutions and external auditors. Support tax preparation and government reporting. Collaborate with leadership on annual budgeting. Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller. Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting operations. Proficient in Excel (beyond data entry), Word, Outlook, and Teams. Experience with accounting software (FAMOUS preferred). Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills. Ability to manage deadlines and train team members. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. CPA and agricultural experience are a plus, but not required.
