Clinican II (RN, Nurse) ORTHO OP Procedures/ Full-Time

Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Clinician II will work collaboratively with physicians, staff and other health care professionals to provide a smooth health care continuum for all patients within the clinic setting. The nurse is an integral member of the clinic care team who works to ensure safety, best practice and high quality standards of care are maintained across the continuum. The Clinician II is responsible for coordinating a variety of patient wellness and chronic illness activities for the clinic’s entire patient population. Description POSITION SUMMARY: Assists nursing staff by transcribing physician's orders during emergent situations. Continuously observes, documents, and reports the cardiac rhythm status in the units and/or on telemetry. Performs clerical duties ensuring accuracy of unit records. Serves as communication center for nursing unit. Performs other duties as assigned by Director, Clinical Manager and Clinical Supervisor. Description POSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program. CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT or Board eligible, New Mexico State licensure required. BLS certification required. For recent graduates, BLS certification required within six months of hire.
