Job Overview: As a Commercial Construction Sales Representative, you'll be the frontline force in generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals that turn into lucrative contracts. This role is perfect for an aggressive, results-oriented individual early in their career who loves the thrill of the hunt and has a passion for construction. You'll work independently with support from our experienced team, targeting developers, architects, property owners, and engineers in the mid-Atlantic region. Expect a mix of office-based strategy, field networking, and travel to client sites. Key Responsibilities: Use of AI tools for new lead generations is critical. Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking events, trade shows, and digital outreach (e.g., LinkedIn, email campaigns). Qualify leads by understanding client needs, project scopes, and timelines. Prepare and present proposals, including RFPs, bids, and contract negotiations to close deals. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster repeat business and referrals. Track sales activities and pipeline using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or similar). Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and executives to ensure seamless handoff from sales to execution. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for new project contracts. Qualifications: Strong familiarity and experience with AI and its application to commercial construction sales. 1-5 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, real estate, building materials, or B2B services. Proven track record of lead generation and closing deals—provide examples of metrics like quota attainment or revenue generated. Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, including bidding, permitting, and subcontractor coordination (or willingness to learn quickly). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a resilient, aggressive mindset to handle rejection and push through obstacles. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and sales software. Familiarity with the use of AI software, such as Togal.ai and other sales AI systems to accelerate the sales process. Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the mid-Atlantic region. Self-motivated with high energy, integrity, and a competitive drive to succeed. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive annual base salary of $70,000 to provide financial stability while building your pipeline. Lucrative incentive commission plan: Earn commissions on closed projects’ contract values - uncapped potential for in excess of $150,000 per year based on performance. Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
