Healthcare Business Development Manager — Medical Transportation (Northern NJ) (Riverdale)

Your Rolodex is your résumé. If you can walk into a 150-bed nursing home on a Friday afternoon and the Director of Nursing already knows your name — we should talk. Kapra EMS is hiring one exceptional Business Development Manager to open doors across Northern New Jersey's hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. This isn't a cold-calling job. It's a relationship job. And the right person will have a direct line to ownership and a real stake in how we grow. About Kapra EMS Kapra EMS is a premium, locally-owned medical transportation company serving hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, dialysis centers, and senior living communities across Northern New Jersey. We operate under the same ownership and team that built Cassovia (CAMT) — a name trusted in this region for 13 years. We've rebranded for growth: a modern, clean fleet, tighter operations, and one clear mission — to become Northern NJ's most reliable non-emergency medical transport partner. Our promise to every facility we serve is simple: We treat your family like our own. When transport runs flawlessly, nurses and administrators get to focus on what actually matters — patient care. We are Medicare/Medicaid certified and accept all major insurances. Role Overview This is a field-based, relationship-driven role covering Bergen, Passaic, Morris, and Essex Counties. As our first dedicated Business Development hire, you'll be the face of Kapra EMS in the facilities that matter most — turning the relationships you've already built into long-term contracts. We operate on a top-down growth strategy: land hospital systems first (highest volume), then nursing home and SNF contracts, which naturally absorb recurring dialysis and one-off patient transport. Your job is to use your access to decision-makers to make that happen. You'll report directly to ownership — no layers, no bureaucracy, fast decisions. Key Responsibilities Leverage your existing network of hospital discharge teams, SNF administrators, case managers, and post-acute operators to generate new transport contracts Conduct in-person facility visits across Northern New Jersey — you'll be out in the field, not behind a desk Build and manage a pipeline of high-value facility accounts using our top-down approach (hospital systems → SNF/nursing home contracts → recurring patient volume) Position Kapra as the trusted, reliable solution to facilities' transportation headaches Represent the Kapra brand with polish and professionalism in every clinical setting Work directly with ownership to shape our sales operations and growth strategy Required Qualifications An active, existing network of decision-makers at hospitals, SNFs, assisted living, or dialysis centers in Northern NJ — this is the single most important requirement A proven track record of B2B outside sales in healthcare, OR a network strong enough to be leveraged immediately A polished, authoritative, and empathetic presence — you understand the pressure healthcare staff Preferred Qualifications Background as a Discharge Planner, SNF Admissions Director, Case Manager, EMS Liaison, Healthcare Account Manager, or Post-Acute Operator Prior experience in home health, hospice, DME, care coordination, or facility-serving vendors (a plus, not a requirement) Existing relationships within CareOne, Atlantic Health, Hackensack Meridian, or comparable networks Deep familiarity with the Northern NJ post-acute care landscape Why join us Earn on everything you build and keep earning. Competitive base plus uncapped, recurring commission. Paid on every contract you land, keep earning as accounts grow and renew. The harder you hunt, the more you make — no ceiling. Ground-floor opportunity . We've perfected our operational model and are transitioning from founder-led sales into an aggressive growth phase. You're not joining a machine, you're helping build one. A direct voice . Reporting straight to ownership means your ideas shape the company. No bureaucracy A service that actually delivers . You'll never have to oversell. Our fleet is modern, our operations are tight, and our reputation is real: built over 13 years. Ready to put your network to work? Apply directly through LinkedIn, or reach out to Bence Forgacs for a confidential conversation. Final interviews are held in person at our head office in Riverdale, NJ. We're moving fast, strong candidates will hear from us within days.
