While the role is primarily remote, occasional meetings may be held at our Hempstead facility to strengthen team cohesion and professional collaboration. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to gather vital information about clients' mental health, strengths, and challenges, ensuring personalized treatment approaches. \n Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. \n Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans that set clear goals and actionable interventions tailored to each client's specific needs. \n Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, multidisciplinary care for all clients. \n Offer crisis intervention services, performing risk assessments and creating safety plans as necessary to enhance client safety and stability. \n Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client data effectively. \n Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups to foster a sense of community among clients. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The focus of this role involves working with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, particularly those seeking support within our Detox Center. Many individuals may be navigating the complexities of substance use disorders alongside concurrent mental health issues. You will have the opportunity to work closely with these clients, helping them build resilience and equip themselves with tools for sustainable recovery. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program. \n Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to practice in New York. \n A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient treatment setting, particularly with population similar to that treated at our center. \n Strong knowledge and application of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches. \n Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills to effectively interact with clients, family members, and colleagues. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working in detox or addiction treatment settings is highly preferred. \n Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and ability to adapt to new technologies seamlessly. \n Demonstrated success in developing and managing individualized treatment plans in a team-based environment. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
