Position Overview: The Director, US Retail Markets will report directly to the Head of North America Markets, working close the North American Head of Placement. This individual will manage all elements of carrier engagement across the retail insurance market in the United States, working with internal field teams and engaging the external carrier community to drive optimum performance, achievement of Acrisure’s placement strategies and the maximization of revenue derived from the insurance carrier community across the value chain. Key Responsibilities: Development and execution of Acrisure's US retail placement and carrier strategy. Contingent and supplemental plan analysis, structuring, negotiation, storing and tracking. Includes analysis of lock-in and stop-loss options. Development of a system for the subsumption and analysis of carrier production reporting, developing a quantitative views of carrier performance. Management and expansion of US Markets team. Stewardship of regular carrier performance review sessions. Regular correspondence with divisional placement teams, capturing qualitative feedback on carriers and the needs of our placement teams. Development of strategies to sell Acrisure TPA and claims services to carrier community. Fostering trading relationships with key carrier partners. Promoting the restructuring of carrier engagement under Acrisure's new divisional structure including underwriter allocation. Keeping abreast of industry / market dynamics and preparing informative documentation for Acrisure leaders. Development of a carrier ranking system, measuring carriers across underwriting, claim and servicing capabilities. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals, ensuring alignment with the department’s objectives and the company’s overall goals Assisting the promotion of non-retail segments of Acrisure’s capability set to carrier partners, including corporate advisory, legacy, reinsurance, servicing and more. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as business administration, marketing or finance required. Experience trading in the US retail and/or wholesale insurance market. Experience leading and growing a team. Familiarity with all forms of compensation; base commission, contingent and supplemental. Pay Details: The base compensation range for this position is $225,000 - $300,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
