Work Environment\n This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide telehealth services from the comfort of your home office. You will have access to our proprietary digital platforms, which facilitate seamless therapy sessions and client management. Our structured work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, although some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive, designed to collect essential information about clients’ backgrounds, experiences, and current challenges. \n Develop tailored treatment plans based on your assessments, integrating evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect each client's unique cultural context. \n Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing techniques that empower clients to explore their emotions and foster resilience. \n Collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care. \n Provide timely crisis intervention and suicide risk assessments, offering immediate support to clients experiencing emergencies. \n Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment paths, and resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process. \n Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with all legal and ethical requirements, utilizing an electronic health record (EHR) system. \n Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and continuous professional development activities, such as cultural competence training. \n Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy to ensure high-quality, evidence-based client care. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your expertise will directly impact a diverse clientele, which includes a variety of cultural groups and communities. Your role will be vital in developing trust and rapport with clients, ensuring they feel safe and understood throughout their therapeutic journey. Qualifications\n \n A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York. \n A strong understanding of mental health disorders, paired with proficiency in culturally competent care approaches, is essential. \n Proven experience in delivering therapeutic services both individually and in groups, with a focus on inclusivity. \n Demonstrated crisis intervention capabilities, with the ability to manage high-pressure situations calmly and effectively. \n Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering meaningful connections with a diverse array of individuals. \n Proficiency in using technology, including EHR systems and other relevant software applications for managing patient information. \n A strong commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and maintaining professional boundaries. \n Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working in a telehealth setting is highly valued, given our emphasis on quality remote services. \n Prior involvement in community outreach or engagement initiatives aimed at supporting diverse populations can be an asset. \n Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities that address trauma or culturally specific practices will be beneficial. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The starting salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
