Work from drawings, sketches, job layouts and verbal directions. Use scale, square, protractor, calipers, micrometers, precision blocks, indicators, verniers, etc., to setup and operate machines and to check work. Under general supervision; instructions and guidance provided on the more difficult and unusual work and on setup and operating problems. Visually inspect all parts for missing or incomplete operations. Gage and indicate machined characteristics to quality standards. Make sure all tooling is in accordance with print specification of part to be produced. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
