Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients, utilizing various standardized tools and interviews to accurately diagnose mental health conditions and guide treatment planning. \n Deliver evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, families, and groups. \n Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of case managers, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals to create a comprehensive, holistic care plan for each client. \n Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute psychological distress, employing de-escalation techniques, and developing safety plans as needed. \n Engage actively in community outreach programs aimed at enhancing mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting resources available for support. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The client demographic at DoCare Counseling Center is distinctly diverse, encompassing individuals from all walks of life, including those facing socioeconomic challenges, cultural barriers, and varying degrees of mental health issues. You will work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, among other concerns. Qualifications\n \n A valid and active independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n A completed master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. \n Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with diverse clients effectively. \n Demonstrated cultural competence and an ability to engage with clients from various backgrounds and experiences. \n Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, ensuring compliance with documentation and therapeutic protocols. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working in community mental health settings or with underserved populations is highly desirable. \n Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms is advantageous for efficient client management. \n A history of participation in interdisciplinary teams can enhance collaborative efforts in client care. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
