This position will be responsible for installing, splicing, repairing and maintaining aerial, buried, and/or underground fiber optic and coax cable. This position will need to be knowledgeable of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of telecommunications. \n \n This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus! Uses Locators, TDR’s, FDR’s and OTDR’s while read system maps. This may include interpretation of system maps, calculation of signal loss of cable lines and/or devices using signal level meters, reading and understanding plant blueprints and updates to blueprints (excluding main trunk lines).
