Continuing Education Certification Specialist - Hybrid

If you're a P&C practitioner who can write clearly, think critically, and teach what you know, this is a rare seat at the table. At IRMI, we don't publish "content." We develop learning that helps risk and insurance professionals make better decisions-decisions that influence coverage outcomes, claims results, and ultimately business resilience. This role is for someone who can translate real-world expertise into curriculum that holds up under scrutiny and earns trust. What you'll own You'll lead the development and evolution of IRMI's learning experiences across insurance education, certifications, and programs, ensuring the work is accurate, current, and written at a professional standard. What you'll do Drive curriculum strategy and execution for IRMI's education and certification offerings, ensuring relevance and quality across programs. Collaborate with subject matter experts, speakers, and authors-and help them produce content that's clear, defensible, and publish-ready. Write, review, and edit curriculum materials (including courses and exam-related content) with a high bar for clarity and precision. Represent IRMI at industry events and deliver presentations as a credible voice in insurance education (travel up to ~20%). Identify new opportunities for learning programs and improvements using your knowledge of the P&C insurance industry. What we're looking for 5 years in the P&C insurance industry as a practitioner and/or educator, with the judgment to know what's technically correct and what's "market noise." The ability to turn complex concepts into clean, readable instruction (your writing is structured, not "chatty," and doesn't rely on fluff). Comfort presenting to professional audiences and contributing to seminars, conferences, or training programs. Strong project/program execution instincts: you can manage quality, deadlines, stakeholders, and continuous updates without losing rigor. Progress toward or attainment of CPCU, ARM, CIC, CRM, or related IRMI designations strongly aligns with this role. Why IRMI IRMI is a leading authority and educator for risk management, insurance, and legal professionals, producing education and content through certifications, conferences, and learning programs. We've been recognized as a Top 100 employer in the Dallas Morning News in 2025, 2023, 2021, and 2016 and are known for a stable environment with long tenure.
