Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via telehealth and in the outpatient office setting. \n Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals and aspirations. \n Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, or EMDR, to support clients effectively. \n Maintain accurate and timely documentation through electronic health records (EHR) software in compliance with HIPAA standards. \n Facilitate group therapy sessions and community workshops, focusing on building resilience and coping strategies. \n Collaborate with colleagues and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment adjustments. \n Engage in continuous learning by participating in training sessions and professional development opportunities. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our clinic serves a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural backgrounds. We emphasize culturally responsive care, respecting each client’s unique experiences and traditions. Our therapists are equipped to address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, aiming to provide tailored interventions that foster healing and growth. Qualifications\n \n A Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California. \n Proficiency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively provide therapy services. \n A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health setting, ideally focusing on diverse populations. \n An understanding of cultural sensitivity and an ability to address individual and family needs respectfully. \n Willingness to serve as an in-network provider for insurance panels. \n Computer literacy, including experience with EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite. \n Valid driver's license and current car insurance for potential in-person sessions. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Specialization in relevant areas such as trauma, LGBTQ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health. \n Training in specific therapeutic modalities (CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR). \n Experience working effectively with clients from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. \n Capacity for self-examination and empathy, critical traits in fostering therapeutic alliances. \n Compensation and Benefits\n Silver Head Psychiatry Clinic offers a competitive salary range between USD 70,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
