SUMMARY Under limited supervision designs, develops and maintains test procedures, tester hardware and software for electronic circuit board production. JOB SUMMARY The Industrial Engineer supports manufacturing sustainment operations and new product introductions (NPI) for advanced AI/ML and GPU-accelerated server rack platforms. This role is responsible for optimizing production systems to ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and scalability objectives are achieved. The position plays a critical role in production ramp readiness, time standard integrity, capacity modeling, layout optimization, and continuous improvement execution within a high-complexity, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is part of the core team launching new manufacturing technologies at our production facility in Florence, KY. It is a fully on-site role, and relocation assistance may be available for candidates who reside more than 50 miles from the Florence area. The ideal candidate has experience supporting the assembly, testing, and integration of complex electronic hardware systems in a manufacturing environment. This is a junior individual contributor position requiring strong cross-functional collaboration in a high-constraint environment to deliver data-driven process improvements. SHIFT / SCHEDULE : The Industrial Engineer is required to work 12-hour shifts, on the following schedule: Shift 404 : (nights) 6:00PM to 6:00AM, Thursday through Saturday every week and Wednesday through Saturday every other week. For example : 36 hours on week 1 (Thursday - Saturday), 48 hours on week 2 (Wednesday - Saturday), 36 hours week 3, etc. Occasional overtime may be required, depending on business needs. Monitor and improve key operational metrics, including UPH, WIP, lead time, FPY, rework rates, and labor efficiency. Lead layout improvements, line balancing efforts, and material handling optimization initiatives. Develop and maintain standard work, process documentation, and visual management systems. Perform root cause analysis and drive sustainable corrective actions using Lean methodologies (DMAIC, 5-Why, Kaizen). Ensure data alignment and configuration accuracy across ERP and manufacturing execution systems (SAP, MES, iFactory). Build analytical tools (Excel models, dashboards, and simulations) to support data-driven decision-making. What will you do ? Quality Management System Leadership Establish a strong QMS foundation aligned with Jabil Global QMS and ISO 9001:2015 Standards. Own the Quality Policy and measurable quality objectives throughout the site; monitor performance and drive corrective actions where needed. Lead Management Review processes — ensuring data-driven decision-making and compliance visibility. Auditing & Compliance Plan and execute internal audits across engineering and operations (with focus on IC, Planning, and other core Manufacturing Processes), product management, customer support. Serve as primary liaison with external auditors, certification bodies, and regulatory partners. Track and ensure closure of nonconformities, corrective actions, and risk mitigations. A strong grip on basics such as FMEA and Control Plan is a plus point. Champion structured problem-solving using 8D, RCA, FMEA, DMAIC or equivalent frameworks. Document & Process Ownership Own lifecycle management for QMS documentation — including processes, SOPs, Work Instructions, and Quality Records. Partner with system owners to ensure traceability and version control across Jabil document control tools. Customer & Stakeholder Focus Integrate Voice of Customer (VoC) into QMS improvements and product roadmaps. Lead quality representation in major incident reviews and customer-impacting events. Training & Culture Building Develop and deliver ISO 9001:2015 and QMS awareness training for all functions starting at New Employee Orientation. Engineering Technician / CNC Programmer - Manufacturing - Elmira, NY

How will you make an impact? This onsite opportunity is a CNC Programmer role, where the individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining CNC machining processes. Location/Division Specific Information: Elmira, NY – Engineering Technician II – CNC Programmer. Jabil Elmira is a manufacturing and assembly facility where employees build, test, inspect, and support the production of various products. It includes engineering, quality, materials, and production operations typical of a Jabil manufacturing site. What will you do? Provides technical support for existing processes, including hands-on troubleshooting and failure analysis for milling machines, lathes, EDMs and other CNC equipment. Performs programing, qualification, implementation and debugging of CNC programming and functional framework for new and updated machining processes. Performs measurement of parts using manual gaging and automated methods. Uses data driven decision making for CNC program corrections and improvements. Participates in creation of machine requirements for modifications and new builds. Participates in machine selection, vendor functional acceptance, site acceptance activities, installation and qualification activities. Participates in cutting tool selection, custom cutting tool design, sourcing and testing. Participates in tool holder selection, fixture selection, fixture design, sourcing and testing. Performs installation, alignment and qualification of machine components including 4th and 5th axis rotary tables, integrated tool setters, touch probes and live tool spindles. Participates in training of Machine Operators on equipment maintenance, tool change, tool setting, tool offsets, data transfers and other routine operational requirements.
