SUMMARY Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical/electronic components of industrial machinery, equipment, and building systems by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Tests and diagnoses malfunctioning machinery, and reviews diagnosis for proper corrective action with other maintenance workers such as mechanics and supervisors. Must have knowledge and the ability to perform various duties in the following industrial control software: RS Linx, RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5 and RS Logix 5000. Actively pursue and correct problems with electrical components and systems throughout the facility and grounds. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of all facility, grounds, and industrial power and electrical systems (low and high voltage). Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics. Diagnose electric motor, motor control, and device control problems Ability to troubleshoot and repair sensors and solid state equipment. Ability to identify and order parts and materials from manufacturers manuals and prints. Capable of communicating both oral and written instructions. Perform component manufacturing duties to include segmenting, filtering, sampling, and weighing products for QC. Prepare tubes for shipment to qualified testing laboratory daily. Ensure all required tests are ordered and units reconciled. Submit test request daily and follow up with additional test requirements. Perform BacT culture and or/ pathogen reduction of platelet pheresis products as needed. Further process plasma into cryoprecipitate and pooled cryoprecipitate. Label and validate components when testing is complete. Ensure proper disposition of blood products to include quarantine, investigation and discarding when appropriate. Perform all computer or manual functions necessary to document and track disposition of all components. Consign blood products to hospitals or other consignees (plasma manufacturers, etc.) as necessary. Answers phone/fax orders from hospitals. Adheres to SOPs and follows established blood center SOPs and cGMPs. Demonstrates and maintains competencies of job duties as assigned. Completes training and assignments by due date. Stays in communication by consistently checking emails and mailboxes. Box up biohazard boxes.
