Core Responsibilities Beverage Preparation & Service Prepare high-quality espresso, coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines Ensure consistent taste, temperature, and quality of all beverages Customize drinks to meet guest preferences and dietary needs Customer Service Greet and engage guests warmly and professionally Take accurate orders and provide recommendations when appropriate Maintain a clean, inviting, and organized service area Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly, escalating when necessary Operational Efficiency Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently Maintain proper stock of coffee, milk, syrups, and supplies for smooth service Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, and service areas throughout the shift Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation Teamwork & Communication Collaborate effectively with fellow baristas, kitchen staff, and FOH team members Communicate clearly regarding inventory needs, equipment issues, and service priorities Support training and development of new team members as needed Health, Safety & Compliance Must have a valid Food Handler’s Card Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines Adhere to company policies regarding hygiene, dress code, and professional conduct Continuous Improvement Stay informed on new beverage trends and techniques Suggest process improvements to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
