Position Summary The Technical Director – Architecture is responsible for leading the firm's technical practice and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality architectural projects. This role establishes firmwide technical standards, quality assurance and quality control procedures, and best practices for project documentation and construction administration. The Technical Director serves as the firm's primary technical resource, providing leadership in building codes, constructability, detailing, building systems coordination, specifications, and project execution while mentoring architectural staff and supporting project teams throughout all phases of design and construction. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain firmwide architectural technical standards, documentation requirements, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures. Lead technical reviews at key project milestones, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, permit submissions, and issued-for-construction packages.
