Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Chief Therapist, in collaboration with and under the direction of the Manager of Medical Physics, is accountable for ongoing shift leadership, and for the operation of the Radiation Oncology department. The Chief Therapist provides direct supervision of the radiation therapy technologists, monitors patient workflow, educates the radiation therapy technologists when necessary, provides care for patients while delivering radiation therapy, and works as a Tech, as scheduled. The Chief Therapist coaches and guides radiation therapy technologists under his/her supervision; demonstrates Professionalism and Excellence by acting as a role model for clinical and service excellence. The Chief Therapist will be responsible for creating and maintaining the schedules, this will include finding coverage for time-off requests. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology, ARRT credentialed as a registered radiation therapy technologist. Outpatient Lactation Coordinator Arroyo Chamiso Pediatrics/ Per-Diem

Description The Outpatient Lactation Coordinator is responsible for establishing and overseeing lactation consultation in the outpatient setting to CHRISTUS St. Vincent patients. The Outpatient Lactation Program is intended to provide safe, family-centered patient care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating lactation plans for the breastfeeding/chest-feeding dyad, as well as for the pumping parent. The program is fully collaborative with the patient, patient's family, significant others, and members of the health care team. The Lactation Coordinator demonstrates specialized knowledge and clinical expertise in breastfeeding/chest-feeding and human lactation. As an integral member of the Health Care Team, the Lactation Coordinator functions within the Scope of Practice as defined by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) and follows Standards of Practice as defined by the professional association, Internal Lactation Consultant Association, and adheres to policies, procedures and guidelines of care. Requirements EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current New Mexico RN license required. BLS Required. Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Ultrasound Supervisor, in collaboration with and under the direction of the Radiology Supervisor/Director/Manager, is accountable for ongoing shift leadership, and for the operation of all Ultrasound imaging services departments. The supervisor works as a department ultrasound technologist scanning patients. The Ultrasound supervisor provides direct supervision of the Ultrasound staff, monitors patient workflow, educates the radiology associates when necessarily and provides care for patients while obtaining ultrasound images. The Ultrasound Supervisor coaches and guides employees under his/her supervision; demonstrates Professionalism and Excellence by acting as a role model for clinical and service excellence. The working Supervisor will be responsible for creating and maintaining the schedules within their modality; this will include finding coverage for requests off. Surgical Technologist Certified - General Surgery

Description Summary: Performs a variety of technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients. Prepares patient skin for surgery in accordance with hospital standards. Maintains aseptic techniques; actively monitors situations that could lead to breaches in aseptic technique. Provides comfort and support for pre-operative patients by demonstrating sensitivity to patient care and privacy. Transports patients to and from the Operating Room suite. Positions patients according to the type of surgery. Identifies and cares for biological specimens.
