Account Executive (Ada)

Clearway is a Dell Outlet Platinum Authorized Distributor that sells only through value-added resellers. We sell factory-recertified Dell PowerEdge servers and related server components for general compute, AI and HCI workloads. Integration, staging and white-label fulfillment come standard. We never sell to end users, so our partners keep their customers. Why Now New infrastructure costs keep rising, lead times are unpredictable, and virtualization licensing changes are forcing customers to rethink their stacks. VARs need a reliable source of enterprise-grade servers that ships fast and protects their margin. That's the opportunity, and we need people to go win it. The Role This is a hunting role. Your job is to find, open and activate new VAR partners who aren't buying from Clearway today. You'll build your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking and channel relationships. Once a partner is buying, you'll grow them into a repeat account. What You'll Do Prospect and open new VAR partners through calls, email, LinkedIn, events and referrals. Run the full cycle: first conversation, partner onboarding, first order, then repeat business. Lead discovery before you quote . Work with the partner to understand the customer's underlying workload, current hypervisor and HCI platform, budget and timing, then find where the BOM can flex (server generation, CPU, memory, storage) to meet the workload at the right price. Configure and quote PowerEdge servers and related server components. Sell integration, staging and white-label services that grow partner margin. Drive virtual SAN solutions. Engage partners whose customers are evaluating their HCI or hypervisor platform, and position software-defined storage on PowerEdge as the alternative to a traditional SAN or a VMware/vSAN renewal. Typical opportunities include storage refreshes, virtualization migrations and 2–3 node edge or ROBO clusters, and you'll lead those deals with the partner. Keep pipeline, activity and forecasts current in ERP / CRM. Hit monthly and quarterly targets for new partners and gross profit. What You Bring 3 years of new-business sales in servers, data center hardware, distribution or a VAR. A proven track record of building pipeline from scratch and closing new logos. Comfort with high outbound activity and persistence through long first-order cycles. Strong discovery skills: you ask the right questions about workload, platform, budget and timing before you build a quote. Fluency in the channel: margins, deal registration and partner trust. Working knowledge of server configuration (CPU, memory, storage, RAID, networking), or the drive to learn it fast. Nice to Have Dell PowerEdge, Dell Outlet or recertified hardware experience. HCI or virtualization background (VergeOS, DataCore, vSAN, Nutanix, S2D). An existing VAR network you can activate.
