Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year A bit about us: Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their firm in North Atlanta. This opportunity is with an established mid-sized firm that specializes in representing government entities across the state of Georgia in general civil litigation, real estate law, complex government contracts, land use & zoning, and employment law. The incoming paralegal will provide support to 2 partners for a wide range of litigation matters involving real estate litigation, business litigation, land use & zoning, condemnations, and government law. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter who values teamwork, high quality work product, organizational culture, and professional development. Interested candidates must have strong foundational knowledge of Georgia Superior Court Rules and experience with e-filing. Candidates with previous business, real estate, real property, or general civil litigation experience are encouraged to apply. A Paralegal Certificate is required for consideration. Key job responsibilities include: Provide litigation support for real estate, condemnation, business, construction, and other general civil litigation matters Track and manage case deadlines, including court dates, filing deadlines, and other critical milestones Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, real estate transactions documents, motions, and subpoenas E-filing in state and federal court Act as a primary liaison between the attorney and clients Effectively collaborate with other team members and work independently as needed. Monitor and ensure compliance with court orders, settlement agreements, and other legal obligations.
