It partners cross-functionally to manage compliance requirements, strengthen controls, and enable risk-based oversight through effective monitoring, data, and reporting. The Compliance Insights team provides strategic, comprehensive data analysis, reporting, and data-driven insights that support Electric compliance, investigations, and risk management. Position Summary: The Electric NERC Compliance Consultant, Senior core function is to assist/monitor the compliance and/or risk management framework & tools that enable the organization and employees to conduct business in compliance with NERC applicable standards, laws & regulations, and/or to identify, manage, and mitigate operational risk. The Electric NERC Compliance Consultant, Senior will assist the Engineering, Asset Management and Planning, and Electric Operations business units and the Enterprise NERC Compliance Office to guide mitigation planning, shaping risk-based decisions, aligning cross-functional partners, and influencing policy and regulatory strategy across WECC, FERC and CAISO. The selected candidate must live within PG&E’s service territory and will be expected to work in the office 2-3 days/week. May respond to regulatory data requests, investigations, audits, and other inquiries. Identifies new/changing requirements or standards and ensures programs and tools are updated accordingly. Verifies reports, audits documentation, and validates content in database / risk register. Participates in or may lead root cause analysis exercises. Supports ongoing mitigation plans filed with the Regional Entity (Western Electric Coordinating Council [WECC]); assists Electric Engineering business units on the development of mitigation plans. Identifies opportunities for new internal controls; helps build additional internal controls; assists controls verification team on development and implementation of test plans, incorporating any findings into improvements in NERC compliance. Supports investigations into compliance issues with NERCwith a focus on O&P standard family; assists in strategic direction regarding areas of NERC compliance in common with CPUC, OEIS, and CAISO; provides input into FERC/NERC policy as it pertains to development of new and/or revised NERC Reliability Standards. Assists with compelling data-driven business cases for or against specific courses of action and potential risk mitigation alternatives as appropriate; supports development of compliance narratives and RSAW documentation. Assists with annual gap analysis; identifies gaps between compliance requirements and guidance documentation. This position will maintain communication lines between Team Members, Lead Staff, Managerial Supervisors, and the Full-time management team. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: Ensure correct implementation of all POS transactions procedures and full compliance by every Team Member. Manage all facets of day-to-day operations for assigned rental and retail locations while driving revenue and maintaining expenses within budgeted and park policies. Ensure compliance of all corporate and park policies and procedures. Protect and secure all assets and equipment. Perform duties to include shop set ups, visual displays and proper signage. Fully execute company Mantra of Friendly, Clean, Fast, Safe Service. Key Role in training and development of seasonal staff. Maintaining proper staffing levels through planning, scheduling and follow up with the Managerial Supervisors and Full-time staff. Initiate corrective actions where necessary for violations of park policies and procedures as well as reward and recognition for outstanding performance. Responsible for executing and tracking inventory processes for rental tubes and cabanas. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Payrate: $15.00-$16.00/hr. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year park experience and/or retail background. High School Diploma or GED.
