We are making a positive impact, and we want you to be a part of it! www.lgeshonda.com Summary: The Equipment Service Planner will plan, schedule, and monitor production equipment maintenance and repair to ensure continuous production, including inventory monitoring of required tools and parts, tracking regular preventive maintenance and inspection, and equipment service in the EMS (Equipment Management System). This position will also be involved with technician mentorship and support as needed and as qualified. Responsibilities: • Provide mentorship and support to technicians on equipment servicing, safety, and operation. • Create and maintain a corrective and preventative maintenance schedule of production equipment and track completion to ensurethe operation of machinery • Use downtime data and production plans to coordinate with each area for optimal times to complete preventative maintenance activity • Communicate directly with contractors, technicians, and the production department to coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance work in production areas • Identify and maintain spare part and tool inventory levels, including ordering • Support training and standardization of EMS (Equipment Management Systems) • Support immediate response to production floor needs and requirements • Monitor and report on machine operation, downtime, repair quality, and safety concerns • Daily reporting, tracking, and analysis of scheduled activities and equipment downtime • Weekly tracking and reporting of equipment service and repairs budget • Ensure compliance with all SOPs, safety policies, regulations, and 5S3R standards • Participate in regular meetings with leaders, technicians, and other departments to communicate on equipment service activities • Support the supervisor with equipment upgrades, audits, and business plan activities • Perform other duties as assigned Education/Experience: • High School Diploma or GED required • Vocational Certificate or Associate degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience Knowledge/Skills: • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred • PLC, Robotics, Hydraulic, Pneumatics, HMI, Vision, and Servo systems experience preferred • Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written formats • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, & PowerPoint • Able to analyze problems and determine root cause • Strong self-direction and drive • Capability to develop a high level of expertise/aptitude in mechanical and electrical areas • Experience with enterprise software, such as Maximo, preferred Additional Requirements: • Prompt and regular attendance within our onsite operations • Flexibility to work adjusted shifts or additional overtime as necessary Are you ready to join us in our journey toward a better world?
