Collaborate with nurses, APPs, medical assistants, and radiologic technologists for efficient patient flow and integrated care, including timely referrals to primary care physicians, emergency departments, or specialists when higher-acuity or ongoing management is required. Provide indicated vaccinations, point-of-care testing, and basic preventive guidance with clear instructions for timely follow-up with a primary care provider. For acute injuries or functional complaints, assess immediate impact on daily activities, recommend appropriate assistive devices and deliver targeted safety and prevention advice. Explain conditions, treatment plans, self-care instructions, and red-flag symptoms in clear, understandable language to ensure patient understanding, compliance, and safe discharge.
