JOB DUTIES: What exactly will I be doing? The Class A-Delivery Driver role at The H.T. Hackney Co. involves safely and efficiently delivering grocery products to convenience stores across East Tennessee. Routes start early in the morning, using a day cab tractor with a refrigerated pup trailer for deliveries. All freight is unloaded with a hand truck or dolly into the store, with responsibility for making sure every order is accurate and on time. A friendly personality and top-notch customer service skills are essential for success in this position. Driving for The H.T. Hackney Co. comes with great perks like set routes so you can get to know your customers, dedicated tractors with no slip seating, in-cab electronic logs and GPS, no merchandising or sales duties, trailers loaded by warehouse staff, on-site fueling and repair, and best of all, sleeping in your own bed every night. A typical route includes 5-12 stops, 500-700 cubes of product, and averages about 10.5 hours per shift. Structural Steel Welder

Job Description Job Description We are seeking experienced Structural Steel Welders to join our fabrication team. This role involves welding structural steel assemblies to demanding quality standards for bridge and commercial construction projects. Responsibilities Perform structural steel welding in accordance with shop drawings, welding procedures, and quality requirements Produce high-quality fillet, groove, and full-penetration welds Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions Perform carbon arc gouging and weld preparation as required Weld shear studs and other structural steel components Inspect work for quality and dimensional accuracy before releasing assemblies Remove slag and clean welds to meet company and customer standards Work closely with fitters, inspectors, and production personnel to meet fabrication schedules Maintain a safe and organized work area Qualifications Experience welding structural steel, bridge steel, or heavy fabricated assemblies Ability to weld in multiple positions, including vertical and overhead Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and welding symbols Knowledge of FCAW, SMAW, and other structural welding processes Experience with carbon arc gouging Strong attention to quality, workmanship, and safety Ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment Preferred Qualifications AWS welding certifications or the ability to obtain certification Experience with AWS D1.1 and/or AWS D1.5 welding requirements Experience in bridge fabrication or heavy structural steel Experience welding shear studs Experience working in an AISC-certified fabrication shop Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift Ability to lift welding equipment, tools, and materials Ability to work around cranes, fabrication equipment, and heavy steel assemblies Ability to safely perform welding in various positions and shop conditions Why Work at Littell Steel?
