Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to medical patients requiring close monitoring and treatment. This position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including cardiac drips and insulin drips. Monitor patient vitals and manage patients recovering from cardiac procedures. Perform EKGs and intravenous insertions as needed. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans. Participate in patient education and discharge planning. Provide telemetry monitoring and respond to alarms. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry or acute care setting. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. NIHSS certification is required prior to start date. Completed onboarding with EPIC electronic medical record system experience within the past 2 years.
