Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment & Inventory Specialist Compensation The pay for this position is $20.00/hr Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment & Inventory Specialist Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; occasional weekends as needed Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment & Inventory Specialist Responsibilities Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment Duties: Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting member/physician outreach. Enter member demographics and prescription information accurately into the system. Research and resolve insurance billing issues or escalated member concerns. Escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist when necessary. Assist with inbound and outbound patient or physician calls. Perform other duties as assigned. Inventory Specialist Duties: Execute, monitor, and train staff on inventory best practices and SOPs. Receive, count, order, and facilitate returns of pharmacy inventory, ensuring accuracy. Manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including reporting discrepancies and filing claims for shortages, overages, and damaged goods. Educate team members on inventory systems and processes, ensuring compliance with SOPs. Support pharmacy ordering, maintain consigned inventory, and oversee consumables availability. Assist with physical inventory preparations, audits, and cycle counts. Ensure compliance with all state and local laws regarding regulated pharmacy products. Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment & Inventory Specialist Requirements High School diploma required; additional relevant certifications preferred. 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience. Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation. Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems. Knowledge of pharmacy operations, billing, and inventory compliance. Additional Information: Safety-sensitive position with access to PHI.
