Senior Business Analyst

This position will have responsibility for coordination of Business / Systems Analysis activities for Enterprise Forms, Forms Selector Database and a new Customer Communications Management (CCM) Platform. The position will report to the VP, Global Customer Communications Technology Leader. The current platform provides document generation capabilities for over 50 applications within Chubb North America. Forms include policy, endorsements, contracts, checks, letters, bills, invoices, etc. Primary Job Responsibilities Understands the overall business process for forms delivery in North America and work with business partners to review, analyze, and evaluate business process and forms needs. Responsible for development, documentation and communication of business requirements to technical IT team. These way be delivered as Epics and/or User stories. Partner with digital teams to provide portable documents for digital delivery Responsible for identifying process and technology gaps and working with technical and business resources to fill the gaps based on the business reporting needs. Work closely with other business partners to clearly outline the system requirements and act as business analysts for some components. Identify dependencies between different components of the program / project and bring to the attention of key stakeholders and project manager to help identify them in the plan. Collaborate with business partner, business analysts and appropriate stakeholders to define Project Scope Responsible for business requirements throughout the SDLC (Agile or waterfall). Collaborate with Project Manager to manage scope, manage business partner expectations, provide input into the identification of risks to delivering solutions and input into project plans. Experience in Agile software development including Scrum, Lean/Kanban and related certifications (e.g. CSM, SAFe) desired. Story Author experience is a plus. 3 years business analysis experience with insurance policy documents. Experience with Property & Casualty insurance products preferred, but Healthcare insurance experience will be considered. Must possess a solid level of understanding of insurance transactions and business workflow in a straight through processing environment. Agile software development experience including story author, product owner or scrum master roles preferred. Must be detail-oriented and thorough with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines. Must be flexible and effective at multi-tasking with strong ability to manage and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives. Establish a positive working relationship with IT staff and business partners. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
